The Chairman's office
is used |
for official
luncheons with head of states, receptions for foreign delegations
and for the chairman's meetings. The assembly room is rented
out on equal terms with the other rooms.
By the entrance at the Committee Hall you notice a bronze bust
of King Christian IV. This is a copy of the bronze bust by Francois
Dieussarts at Rosenborg Slot. The chandelier is a copy of the
one at Vestervig Church in Thy. A large painting of Christian
IV decorates one of the walls. How it ended at Børsen,
nobody knows and no one knows who painted it. It is said that
the style resembles Karel Van Mander.
i Vestervig Kirke i Thy.
i Karel Van Mander-stil.
In the window facing Christianshavn you notice a glass mosaic
which represents the town arms of Bremen. |
